How it Works
Virtual events are an amazing way to get out there and meet your own goals while becoming part of an amazing community that is helping individuals with paralysis to get innovative technologies to be able to walk again. You will Walk2Walk and share your results and add to the total steps and miles that have been walked so others can one day walk too!
You don't have to get up at the crack of dawn or travel anywhere to enjoy the excitement of accomplishing your goals. You can walk, run, race, ride, roll, or even crawl wherever and whenever you like during the ongoing Walk2Walk efforts or during the designated dates of specific Walk2Walk events. People from around the world can participate. Many Walk2Walkers may choose to setup teams to secure donations to meet a targeted fundraising goal or to challenge other teams on steps walked or dollars raised. Individuals can also setup events to fund raise to get their own walking technology while engaging their own participants and the Walk2Walk community. Every event supports the cause!
Once you register, you will be all set to participate and share your results. You will have the option to just make a donation, to register or register with an additional donation, have others donate to your team, and the option to order a T-shirt to show you have joined the Walk2Walk Team (or for a specific event you choose). In order to submit the steps/miles walked, setup a team, or become a fundraiser or promoter, under "Fundraising Options" select become a fundraiser/promoter. This will allow you to share your results and help us build a community and show how far everyone has walked so others can walk too.
HOW TO BEGIN:
- Select LOGIN/REGISTER
- Select Register
- Complete the Form
- Now you can register for events or setup your own event
- Be sure to select "Become a Fundraiser/Promoter" when you register for your event(s)
- Then log back in and post your steps/miles walked and check the progress of your fundraising efforts
